Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine & Medical Director, STAT MedEvac
Frank Guyette MD, MPH is an attending physician at the University of Pittsburgh Presbyterian Hospital and a researcher in the University of Pittsburgh Department of Emergency Medicine. He earned his B.S. from the College of William and Mary, an M.S. in cellular biology from Rutgers University, an M.P.H. from the University of Pittsburgh and his medical doctorate from the Tulane University.
He is a faculty member of the Emergency Responder Human Performance Lab at the University of Pittsburgh. Active in prehospital medicine since 1990, Dr Guyette is the associate medical director for STATMedEvac, and medical director for several suburban services including the communities of Murrysville, Adamsburg, and Munhall PA. He is also a member of the Disaster Medical Assistance Team (PA-1). Dr. Guyette was recently named one of the "Top Ten Innovators in EMS" by JEMS magazine.
